6. I am NOT a LinksManager.com customer. How do I find swap partners and request reciprocal links using LinkPartners.com? -

From our search page, you can either search for link swap partners, or browse websites using the alphabetical categories listed. When you see the results of your search, you can click on the website's name or screenshot to navigate to their website and links pages in a new browser window.

Then, you must determine how that website's webmaster wants to swap links with you. He/she may have a Add Link form to fill out, or perhaps they only provide an email address to contact them at.

If you do not have a LinksManager account, it is a manual process and you will have to locate the add link form and fill it out, or contact the webmaster via his or her email address or contact form on their website.

If you do not see it listed, try searching your domain in the search box. If you still cannot find your listing, it is possible it has been cloaked because your account is not fully setup yet. Contact the LinksManager Helpdesk from your account for assistance.

Next, check to make sure your listing in LinkPartners.com is how you want it to appear on other sites. You can check your LinkPartners.com directly from your LinksManager account by click on 'LinkPartner Preferences' in the left navigation of your account. Then click on the hyperlink that points to your listing in LinkPartners.com Note: The information listed for your site on LinkPartners.com is used for link swaps intiated by other webmasters.

You should also check your account settings in your LinksManager control panel. 10. I received a "Your Link Has Been Deleted" email and I am linking to the other site. Why? -

It is possible an account owner using LinksManager will delete your link and send you the "Link Deleted Email" prematurely.

LinksManager is a tool and we make the tool as simple and easy to use, but like any tool, it can be misused sometimes by new LinksManager account owners who mean well but do not always allow enough time for other webmasters to reciprocate a link. And if you post your link just after LinksManager has reported to the account owner that your link was not reciprocating on last check, sometimes the account owner will jump the gun on sending the Link Deleted Email.

That mailer can be replied to. So if you get one, reply politely and explain where your link to their site is. And you can also visit that webmaster's site and add your link again so he or she can approve it.
